My paintings and exhibitions are a continual reflection of my personal life, which has involved family life, women's issues, spiritual themes and a close observance of the natural world. With significant time spent in preparation for a piece, I work from my vast collection of personal photographs to complete a detailed charcoal drawing. Then I slowly "flesh out" the piece by adding layer upon layer of thin oil glazes, aiming to create the "glow" of natural light and a clarity, depth and beauty.  My review 2019.
